Dog Guard has the most effective and customizable electronic fencing system and training on the market. Dog Guard products are designed and assembled in the USA to provide exceptional quality and reliability. But our people are just as important. Since we are a locally owned business, you’ll be working with someone who is part of your community, someone who can provide support from installation to training and beyond.
Unquestionably, yes. Over 250,000 pets of all breeds and sizes have been safely contained by Dog Guard. Dog Guard receivers are customizable for each dog and we offer a 30-day money back containment guarantee because we are confident that we can safely contain your dog!
Dog Guard doesn’t want you stressing about your pet’s safety, or how you are going to pay for that peace of mind. That’s why we offer financing on underground dog fence installations! Learn about financing
All dogs we work with will be off-leash the same day we install your fence! Other companies may try to convince you that your pet needs weeks of hands-on training - they absolutely don’t, and doing so will only hamper their progress. This may seem intimidating, but the training for your dog is far less important than the training we provide you - there is no sense in having a system working flawlessly if you’re not confident in using it or comfortable operating it. We’re confident that you’ll be amazed at how quickly your dog understands their new boundaries, and how quickly you come to fully trust Dog Guard to keep them safe.
We train the dog so you don’t have to! When it comes to training, we play the ‘bad guy’ so you can be the ‘good guy’! All we ask is that you spend time in the yard with your pets after we train, just like you normally would! We’ll give you tips and tricks to get everyone up to speed quickly, but your part in training is simply being present in the yard. After 24 hours post-training, your dogs can be in the yard unsupervised entirely.
We recommend removing every other flag 7 days after installation. After another 7 days, you’ll remove every other remaining flag, and after 7 more days you’ll remove the remaining flags entirely. The whole process takes 21 days, and is designed to train your dog to scent versus a visual cue. It is important not to take them all out at once or the dog can experience setbacks with their training.
It's not just a dog fence, it's peace of mind.
