Battery Plan

When you order a new set of Dog Guard batteries through us, we mail them out the same day. We also send an email reminder when your batteries are due to be changed or when you are about to run out of batteries, so you can be sure that your pet is always safely contained!

Dog Guard batteries last a minimum of 6 months, meaning you only need to change the batteries twice a year per pet! Most batteries will last significantly longer, depending on each dog and how often they test the boundary. They have a shelf life of approximately 4 years.

In order to ensure your pet’s safety and optimal performance of your Dog Guard fencing system, we strongly recommend you purchase your replacement batteries through us. We cannot guarantee the system will operate as intended when used with non Dog Guard brand batteries, which is why they are required for the warranty.
