Derrick & Ami Westcott are the owners of Dog Guard Midwest, having purchased the business from Derrick’s parents, Scott & Angie Westcott. Prior to owning Dog Guard Midwest, we both worked as contractors or employees of Dog Guard since its inception in 2009. We have a handsome Golden Retriever named Bailey, who is a retired stud! He gets to live a fantastic life on our farm, where he patrols as a sheriff for our cats, chickens, and children. Bailey gets to see a lot of wildlife, but fortunately he’s well trained to his system! 

We have been active in all parts of Dog Guard’s operations throughout the years - from installing systems to training dogs, answering phone calls on service questions to doing sales calls, repairs, accounting, advertising, and everything in between! We’re passionate about helping pet owners, as well as business owners! We’ve helped train dozens of other Dog Guard dealers, and have been the largest dealers in the country for over a decade. There is no company or product that will have a better familiarity with you or your pets needs than Dog Guard Midwest. We’re active in our community volunteering as little league coaches, preschool board members, Knights of Columbus, Chamber of Commerce, and so many more. This business has given us the opportunity to employ fantastic people, support great causes, help our local community, and improve the lives of other dealers throughout the USA.
