Greg and Hayley Wall from West Branch have a 1 year old Yellow Lab named Ruger. They have a fenced yard at their home, however, Greg farms at his grandparents house and likes to take Ruger with him. It’s a long a busy highway and they were concerned for his safety. Greg’s mother, Anita Wall, had a fence for her previous dog. She passed the collar on to them to save them some money. Welcome to the Dog Guard Family!
Dog of the month
Dan Kessler from Tipton (owner of Grasshopper Lawn Care), is pictured here with Axel, his 9 month old Boxer. He heard about us from Ray Vitense and decided to give us a call. His neighbor had been quoted $1,000 more for an Invisible Fence system which prompted him to look further. Axel quickly picked up on the fence and is doing wonderfully! Welcome to the Dog Guard Family.
Craig and Tammy Koonce from Grundy Center are pictured here with their Grand-Dog, Dexter. He is a one-year-old King Cavalier St. Charles, who is owned by their daughter. He does not live with them, but visits often. We installed a fence for their dog back in November, so we just had to reset the flags and train him. Welcome to the Dog Guard Family Dexter!
Dylan Eichhorn and Hanna Grimm from Brooklyn recently joined the Dog Guard Family. They have a 3 year old Bullmastiff named Opie and a two-year-old Blue Heeler named Farley. They wanted to break their yard into two zones, one in the front and one of the back. That way they can contain them either place, but not give them free run of the entire property. Dylan said the dogs are doing so great that he couldn’t believe it! They were referred to us by Blake Jack.
Mackenzie Laux and Trevor Taghon from Harper have a 9 month old Toy Poodle named Buster. He’s a fearless 5-pound, car chasing machine! They live along a busy gravel road and we’re concerned for his safety. We enclosed a couple of acres to give him plenty of space, yet keep him away from the road and cars. They were referred to us by Alex and Skyler Bennett:)
Brandi and Trent Tisinger from West Branch have a handsome 9 month old Goldendoodle named Wilson. They were interested in having the fence work as two separate yards…one for the front and one for the back. This way, they can control where he is at in the yard. Brandi said he’s doing really well with the fence and absolutely loves his freedom! They were referred to us by Mike and Stacey Schropp.
Danielle and Jeff Moon from Davenport have 2 Rottweiler puppies. Myah is 5 months old and Riley is 6 months old. The dogs were very rambunctious, and causing a lot of stress for the family. They trained super easy and are doing great. Here is a copy of the note from Danielle “We’re so happy with the fence & can’t thank you enough. It’s brought such a freedom to all of us. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or not but the pups have had only 1 accident (potty) since the fence has been in.”
John and Shelly Booth from DeSoto just bought a new home. Their previous home had a traditional fence to contain Fozzy, their six month old Goldendoodle. Although the ground was too frozen to bury the wire, we were able to lay it on top of the ground and train him. We’ll go back in the spring to bury it. That way, they don’t have to worry about him or stand out in the cold!
Samantha and Darren Johnson from Washington are pictured here with their two dogs. Tank is a 1 1/2 year old German Shepherd and Cliff is a 4 year old Lab/Hound mix. They have a large yard and wanted them to enjoy it. They were also having some issues with their three-year-old son letting the dogs out 🙂 Tina Johnson Starnes and Blake Carver referred them to us.
Mike and Stacey Schropp from Tiffin just moved to a brand new home! Their son is pictured here with their two adorable Miniature Goldendoodles. Max is 2 years old and Ruby is 12 weeks old. They used to live across the street from Toby Trail, who we installed a fence for many years ago, and he recommended they give us a call.
